Skies of Arcadia Legends North American Release Co

Skies of Arcadia, originally on the Dream Cast, is now being re-released for the GameCube. In time for the new year, it will be out in North America sometime in January of 2003.

From what I can tell of the article, the game is still the same in plot and format, and is still a great RPG if you hadn't played it already on the DC. It may not be a Final Fantasy, but it's still worth a try ^-^

Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Release Date

Gamefront reports that Square's Kindom Hearts' (being made in cooperation with Disney) limited edition release, called Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, will be released in Japan on December 26th, 2002. Kingdom Hearts features characters from Disney and Squaresoft, together in a single adventure to stop what's known as "The Heartless." Some of the features include summoning Disney characters such as The Genie or Dumbo to help you in battle.

This is pretty good news for those looking forward to this game. December is only a few short months away, and the US release of the normal version is imminent. Personally, I'm looking forward to the game, so yay.

Courtesy of the mighty and great OmniPlay Gaming, here is the very first screens of Final Fantasy Tactics on Game Boy Advance. The game takes place in a modern world at first, until the characters are whisked away to Ivalice following an incident. The game has three new systems according to this scan. Final Fantasy I

Some screenshots of the new Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II ports to the PlayStation. The screens show some shots of the new opening FMV, and some from the actual updated gameplay. This again raises the question: Will you spend $40-$50 on games you beat on your NES?

Final Fantasy III on GBA!

Looks like Square is dumping their port of Final Fantasy III on WonderSwan Color to bring it to Gameboy Advance. This is awesome news. It's still up in the air, but Square DID confirm this, according to this Games Are Fun news article.

I hope this comes to pass.
