Maduin is an Esper living in the Esper Village. Madeline is a young woman who accidentally finds herself in the Esper Village. One thing leads to another and...

...their human-esper tryst results in the birth of a baby girl named Terra. Following an Imperial raid on the village, Madeline is killed by Gestahl and Maduin is captured and used in Magitek experiments. He doesn't reunite with his daughter until after becoming Magicite.
