Biography

Algus is a squire in the service of Marquis Elmdor. When Marquis Elmdor is kidnapped by the Death Corps early in the game, Algus decides to ask Dycedarg for aid in rescuing him. He is ambushed by thieves at Mandalia Plains, but is rescued by Ramza and Delita. Algus considers it good fortune that he is able to meet Dycedarg through his brother Ramza. However, Dycedarg has to take things slow, and so Ramza, Delita, and Algus all decide to attempt to rescue Elmdor by themselves. Algus eventually turns against Ramza and Delita because he disagrees with their morals, and a battle ensues.
