Airbuster splits your party into two; Cloud to one side, Tifa and Barret to the other. It’s best to use Bolt on him, and limit breaks or physical attacks. Be sure to heal periodically, as some of his attacks can do a fair amount of damage.

There are many variables that go into generating the HP of this version of Sephiroth. To learn more, visit FF:OSG.
Strategy | ||||
Bizarro-Sephiroth has multiple parts, and each of them must be destroyed. The problem is that each part can be revived by the others, so you should stick to using multiple-target spells and summons (avoid using any fire-based spells, as two parts absorb this element. This means that you can use Trine or Aqualung, but not Magic Breath). You can also choose to go at various parts with single target spells, but with the risk of seeing your efforts go to waste if this body part is revived afterwards.
Two of the parts of Bizarro-Sephiroth are invicible: the main body and the core. What’s worse is that the core uses the Bizarro Energy move, that heals itself for 6000 HP. However, when you managed to kill the other vulnerable parts, you’ll get a message stating that the core is weakened, meaning that it’s susceptible to attacks. Kill it, then kill the main body to finish the battle. If you have two parties, you can prevent Bizarro-Sephiroth from using the Bizarro Energy. Just switch to the other team after you killed one body part: when facing this team, Bizarro-Sephiroth will not use the Bizarro Energy. You will, however, need to change teams again to deliver the final blow to the main body.

Strategy | ||||
Bottomswell is a large creature who floats above the water, does Tail Attack (attacks one character) as well as Moonstrike (attacks one character for more damage), Big Wave (attacks all characters, including Bottomswell, less damage on each than the one person attacks) and an attack that puts your character in a bubble, slowly draining life.
Keep in mind that he's long range, so you'll be mostly using magic and your Choco/Mog summon.

She's not so tough, really. Equipping a Jem Ring will keep you from being paralyzed by her Stare Down attack and make your life a lot easier. Start with a dose of Barrier and Haste, and since she moves so slow, it'll be that much easier. Anything goes as far as attacks, too, so just unload everything on her and watch her fall.

Strategy | ||||
This boss is harder than the last, so be on your guard. Heal often, and make sure your characters don't stay down for long if they faint. Definitely use Bahamut, and your other summons except for Shiva, Ifrit and Ramuh (they don't do so much damage). If you have Deathblow on Cloud, that works well too. Every once in a while, he does a major attack called Demons Rush that takes a lot of HP from the whole party.

Strategy | ||||
Diamond Weapon is impervious to physical attacks (at least at first), so don’t bother using your Limits if you have some ready. Instead, begin by casting Big Guard, Regen if you feel like it, and then start pounding on Diamond Weapon with your best magic and summons. Contain, Ultima, Comet and the various Bahamut summons will be your primary weapons. Quadra Magic will be a great help too if you have it. Don’t forget to steal from the Weapon during the process though.
Once your opponent uses Diamond Flash though, the deal is different: if you had Limits ready, now is the time to use them, as Diamond Weapon is now vulnerable to physical attacks, and impervious to magical ones. When you reach this point, your opponent has not much time left.

Strategy | ||||
You need to be aware of Barret's HP and MP, and get a feel for how many turns Barret can take before he needs to cure. Dyne attacks quickly, so don’t let Barret get below 250-300HP. Regular attacks, limit breaks, and the Flame Thrower enemy skill do well enough against him, as well as Fire2.

Strategy | ||||
Use Ice spells and Shiva; avoid your Fire spells. Don't bother with Titan, either. Deathblow also works on the main boss, especially when equipped on Cloud. If you're looking for a faster way, hit it with curative items and spells; an Elixir can kill it immediately, as can a Phoenix Down if it hits.

Sleep, Return, Confusion, Silence, Transform, Berserk, Paralysis, Stone, Slowly Stone, Manipulate, Death
Strategy | ||||
Of all the Pagoda battles, Godo is by far the toughest boss. He has three faces, each with its own attacks and attack turn, so it's going to be very possible that he could get two or even three attacks in to your one. As usual for the Pagoda, throw up Barrier and Haste, which will help a lot. If you have Regen, use it ASAP so you can recover your HP as the battle rages. Fire 2 and better is a big help here, in addition to your limit breaks (for heaven's sake, use them as soon as you can!) He's also vulnerable to poisoning, and an Added Effect/Poison combination can be most useful. When the battle gets going in earnest, keep your Barrier up and keep healing her, and watch out for his Frog and Mini attacks, attacking when you can with your strongest stuff. He's also vulnerable to Slow, so casting that can make your fight easier. Just hang tight and stay with him as long as you can.

Strategy | ||||
Equipping Yuffie with a Elemental/Gravity combination helps, as does having Cure, Haste, and Counter Attack. When the fight starts, cast Haste and Barrier if you have them (or if you're that advanced, Wall) and start wailing away on him. Keep curing and laying into him with your strongest attacks, and he'll soon run out of skill points, where it'll then come down to who can outlast the other. For winning, you get a nice little X-Potion.

Strategy | ||||
Being the first boss, he’s not that difficult. Don’t attack him when his tail is up, because it makes him attack you for more damage than usual. However, if you’re quick enough with potions, this is a good way to get your limit breaks to become available. Both magical and physical attacks work well on him. You get an Assault Gun when you win, which you should quickly equip.

In this form, Hojo will have a few status inducing attacks, and so do his arms (that’s where the Ribbon comes in handy). Using White Wind will allow you to regain HP and take care of these status effects. You can choose to concentrate on the main body, or use spells that affect the entire group. However, don’t bother concentrating on the arms, as Heretic Hojo will revive them if need be. Use your most powerful attacks, but save up any Limits available; you will need them later, as Hojo will transform into his final form after you’re finished with this one.

Hojo will start the battle by creating samples of powerful monsters, and will do so every time you take out one of his Bad Rap Sample or Poodler Sample. The best strategy here is to put the samples to sleep (Bad Breath and Sleepel will take care of that), and then attack Hojo without fear of retaliation. When you take him down, he will transform in a much more powerful form.

Strategy | ||||
This boss is, frankly, a pain in the butt. You can’t use long range weapons, but he certainly can, using Wave Artillery and Main Artillery often. Make sure that you keep Aeris healed, and use her healing limit break at every given opportunity. HG is weak against Lightning, so use that as much as you can. Be sure not to let any of the characters stay down for long, as you move to a new boss when you’re done with this one. |
