Job Analysis

The Red Wizard is an extension of the Red Mage who shares his predecessor's impressive versatility. He can equip even more useful weapons and armor, and his statistics still give him the edge as a decent warrior. Moreover, he can cast a greater variety of both Black and White Magic. Like the Red Mage before him, the Red Wizard's various talents make him a diverse and flexible character who can round out any party with his numerous abilities. Unfortunately, the Red Wizard is still prone to the same fundamental flaws in that he is merely good at everything he does. He is nowhere near the level of the Knight, Ninja, or Master, and his spell selection is limited compared to the Black Wizard and White Wizard. The Red Wizard remains an ever-useful jack-of-all-trades, but the discerning player will remember that he is still a master of none.
