Treasures: | None |
Climb up the ladder and you'll discover that you're on the Blackbird, Dalton's airplane. When you climb back down, one of your party members will notice an air duct that you can climb up. However, another option is to knock on the door and play sick, letting you escape.
After you you get through the door, walk to the left and enter the room. Fight the three guys to get your money back from the chest. Afterwards, exit the way you entered and go to the conveyor belt, hit the switch, and go down, then left, into another room. After the fight, you'll get your third party member's equipment back. Exit the way you entered and follow the conveyor belts back up, past your original prison room, and then go to the door on the right, where you will get your second party member's equipment back. Go up the conveyor belt again and into the next area.
Here, head to the door on the left where you can get your items back and reequip your first party member until s/he gets his stuff back. That's now the only thing left to get in the Blackbird before making your escape. At the very top of this screen, go up the ladder that's a little to the left. Then, you will enter an airduct. Go right to the first square of light that you see, then go down to the first square of light you see, then turn left and go down the ladder there. Fight the Basher to get the last set of equipment back, and you're set to move on.
Return to the area not in an airduct that is the furthest north, that has the ladder you climbed to find your last character's equipment. Go to the bottom of that screen and go in the left door, then go in the following door. Climb up the ladder and you'll be on the wing. If you don't get a warning that you can't go back, you have indeed collected everything there is to get.
Turrets reside on the wing, so try to kill them all before going too far. When you get all the way to the left, The Golem Boss that Dalton hinted about at the Ocean Palace will appear.

Chew on this! Run away | None Strategy Another comedy boss, this guy is a pushover regardless how much Dalton talks him up. He doesn't really attack—actually, he doesn't do much of anything at all. Just keep beating on him with whatever you've got.
Afterwards, a cutscene will appear and Dalton will get in the new Epoch and fly around for awhile, christening it the "Aero-Dalton Imperial". Without hesitation, your party members will jump on the Epoch and fight him.

Gale Slash Energy Ball Ice 2 Fire 2 | Lightning 2 Strategy Dalton does more damage than Golem Boss and you may have to heal a bit, but this more royal Dalton does NOT take much of a beating. After a few turns he'll try to call Golem Boss, but the gate he creates will suck him in instead, and the fight is over.
Afterwards, by pushing various buttons, the party will blow up the Blackbird and land back at the Earthbound Village. Head to the commons, where many people will give you hints about someone waiting for you at the North Cape.
At the North Cape, examine the flickering light at the northernmost tip and Magus will appear. He tells you about what happened to the Gurus and reveals that he was Janus. Then, after mocking Crono, he challenges you to a fight. If you accept, you can vanquish him forever. However, if you refuse, walk away and he'll join your party. Either way, he will tell you that there's a way to resurrect Crono.
